Position Objective

The Receptionist will greet, welcome and assist all visitors and guests in a manner reflective of the company core values of exceptional customer service, empowering the individual and providing an environment of care. The Receptionist will display a genuine interest in providing customers and visitors with a memorable real estate experience. This position requires an employee willing to learn and use their initiative to further their learning of the Real Estate administration needs.

The essential duties and responsibilities of a real estate receptionist include:

* Answering telephone calls and directing callers to the appropriate personnel.
* Welcoming visitors to the office and introducing them to the appropriate personnel.
* Receipting of rent and sales deposits.
* Assisting with the maintenance.
* Managing social media accounts.
* Preparing and emailing a report on weekly activities to owners.
* Updating of property listings.
* Distributing mail, and overnight packages to the appropriate parties.
* Overseeing the general appearance of the office, as well as keeping supplies well stocked.
* Various Administration tasks
* Client/database management and communication

Daily duties will include:

* Using office equipment such as photocopiers, switchboards and online record management;
* Handling confidential information, including rental applications and copies of personal identification documents;
* Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing mail
* Liaising with Property Managers, Strata Manager and Real Estate Sales people regarding their office administration needs and providing the appropriate support

Skills and experience:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

* Strong computer skills and a pleasant and professional phone manner are required for this role
* Ability to communicate well and in a professional manner
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is essential
* A desire to work in Real Estate and continue learning
* Basic understanding of REST professional is highly desirable but not essential.
* Excellent personal presentation and grooming
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Sense of urgency and work at a fast pace
* Positive, energetic and hardworking attitude
