Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity: The InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders has a great opportunity for an expert Digital Communications and Marketing Officer to join their team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Manager of Communications, Marketing and Media to deliver on InsideOut Institute's digital marketing and communications objectives.
The role involves planning, creating, and executing engaging digital campaigns, with a strong emphasis on social media advertising, content development, and audience growth.
This position offers the opportunity to enhance the Institute's online presence, drive engagement with key audiences, and contribute to the achievement of broader marketing and communication goals.
The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and maximise the impact of campaigns.
The Digital Communications and Marketing Officer will exercise decision-making within local policy frameworks, using discretion and innovation to develop and implement effective communications strategies, campaign materials, and procedures that elevate the Institute's profile.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Plan, deliver, and optimise paid digital marketing and social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and LinkedIn (and more) to maximise reach, engagement, and ROI.
Develop and manage compelling content and messaging for social media, website, and e-communications in alignment with Institute branding and audience needs.
Monitor analytics, platform algorithms, and audience behaviour to provide insights and guide continuous improvement of campaign strategy and digital engagement.
Enhance the Institute's digital presence through targeted campaigns that amplify research activities, initiatives, and key messages.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners while working autonomously to support broader marketing, communications, and event promotion activities.
Perform work activities relevant to the role's key accountabilities as approved by the Manager and commensurate with the classification level.
About you:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing, or relevant experience in a Digital Communications and Marketing role.
Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and paid advertising across various social media platforms.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, audience-focused content, tailored for diverse platforms and aligned with established branding and messaging.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret metrics and optimise campaigns for impact.
Highly organised with excellent time management, project management, and teamwork skills, able to work collaboratively and autonomously.
Familiarity with content management systems, CRM tools, and digital analytics, with a keen attention to detail and effective communication skills.
