About the role
We are seeking a full-time Pastry Chef / Baker / Cake Decorator to join our team. We are looking for a certain type of applicant who is both a pastry chef / baker and also can decorate cakes to a professional level at speed.
You will be baking large quantities of cakes, cheesecakes, pies, tarts and you will be required to help out in the cake decorating area when needed completing large cakes runs and professional custom cakes.
We will consider Visa sponsorship if we find a candidate who ticks \"all\" of the boxes that we are looking for, as we are looking to lock in a longer term employee to grow with the business.
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years of experience as a professional pastry chef / baker & cake decorator
* A strong passion for baking and a keen eye for detail and presentation
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
* A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the culinary team
* Qualifications in patisserie, baking, or a related culinary field
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
