Correctional Officer Job
Community safety is at the heart of what Correctional Officers do. They are instrumental in helping offenders find a better path in life by supervising inmates in correctional facilities across New South Wales.
This role requires individuals who can work well under pressure, think critically and effectively communicate with inmates. You will be part of a supportive team where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to grow professionally and personally.
To succeed in this position, you must meet certain requirements: be at least 18 years old, hold a current driver's license, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and be willing to complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice. Tattoos or body modifications that can be seen beyond a fastened collar or buttoned cuff are not allowed.
