What you'll do:
As Principal Civil Engineer, you will play an integral part in managing complex infrastructure projects from conception through completion. * Act as the Representative of the Principal during contract delivery phases, upholding delegated responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.

* Manage the tendering process for construction projects, including calling for tenders, assessing submissions, and overseeing contract awards within the Roads Implementation Programme.
* Offer high-level engineering advice on planning, design suitability, material selection, resource allocation, system usage, and construction practices to maximise value for money and best practice outcomes.
* Coordinate operational aspects of project delivery by optimising systems and processes at every stage of the project management model.
* Maintain strict adherence to relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements to support responsible decision-making in design and construction activities.

* Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) status is mandatory due to supervisory responsibilities over engineering resources; experience mentoring graduates or junior engineers is highly valued.
