We are seeking friendly and reliable Village Volunteers to help create engaging social, wellbeing, and lifestyle opportunities for residents living independently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitating activities, supporting events, and encouraging participation, rather than providing personal care.
About the role
As a Village Volunteer, youll work alongside staff to help bring community activities and events to life. In this facilitatorstyle role, you may:
* Support staff with planning and setting up events and activities
* Coordinate and encourage participation in group activities
* Facilitate social and recreational sessions
* Lead or assist with gentle exercise or movement activities (training provided if required)
* Help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and involved
* This role plays an important part in supporting residents to remain active, socially connected, and engaged within their village community.
