Family Law Specialist
As a seasoned attorney, you will have a hands-on role managing and carrying your own files with support available when needed. Your work will encompass family law matters, including:
* Parenting and property disputes.
* Divorce proceedings and binding financial agreements.
* Child support and intervention orders.
* Wills & Estates - creating wills, managing powers of attorney, advanced care directives, probate, and estate administration.
You will attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations as needed, manage files using Smokeball, and maintain sharp time, task, and billing records. A steady, reliable voice for your clients and calm presence within the team are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex family law cases from start to finish.
* Advise clients on their options and develop strategies for resolution.
* Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements.
* Develop and implement effective case management systems.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and case progress.
Requirements
* Admission to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in family law.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Smokeball or similar case management software.
