Establish a strategic talent development pipeline that fosters a strong and sustainable growth of players and coaches from grassroots to elite levels.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive talent identification and recruitment strategy across male and female pathways.
* Promote nationally prescribed talent development programs, focusing on both on-field and off-field aspects.
* Mentor and coach personnel to ensure consistent club philosophy throughout the pathway journey.
* Nurture partnerships with schools, community clubs, QRL/NRL, and affiliates to enhance talent development opportunities.
* Monitor player progress and utilize performance insights to inform decision-making.
* Foster athlete well-being and family engagement throughout the pathway experience.
Requirements
* Demonstrated expertise in coaching and/or pathways roles within rugby league talent environments.
* In-depth understanding of rugby league pathways and attributes of successful players and coaches.
* Current Youth Development Rugby League Coaching Certificate is mandatory.
* Performance Coaching Rugby League Certificate is highly desirable.
* Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
* Strong talent ID capabilities and experience in developing players and coaches.
* Current Working with Children Card and open driver's licence are required.
