The Lillywhite Hotel Group (LHG) is family-run hotel group with hotels in Charters Towers, Mareeba and Townsville. LHG is recruiting for the position of Duty Manager at the Bohle Barn Hotel. The role is a full-time salaried position.
Job Summary
The responsibilities and duties of the role include
* Supporting and assisting the Venue Manager to manage and co-ordinate all areas of the Venue
* Supervising shift operations by ensuring all operational areas are serviced efficiently and productively by rostered staff.
* Implementing policies and procedures directed by senior management and ensure those policies and procedures are communicated to all employees to ensure operational and service standards are maintained
* Opening/closing the Venue as rostered.
* Ensuring excellent customer service is provided in all areas of the Venue
* Training and developing the skills and confidence of the staff members you lead.
* Ensuring compliance with all requirements, regulation and legislation in respect of liquor and gaming, anti-money laundering, WHS, food safety/council local laws and fire safety
* Maintaining the integrity of the stock control and cash handling systems
* Help drive a positive, professional and accountable team culture
Qualifications
* RSG Certificate.
* Current RMLV Certificate
* Current Approved Managers License.
* Safe food handlers Certificate.
Experience and Attributes
* Previous Duty Manager experience.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
* Excellent knowledge of QLD Liquor & Gaming compliance requirements.
* A passion for great customer service.
* Good understanding of Keno and TAB operations.
* Willingness to work mixture of Day's, nights and mid shifts.
