Job Title: SAP Identity & GRC Security Architect

Job Summary:
Experis Australia has been engaged by our Federal Government Client to source an experienced SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in delivering SAP GRC services within government or large-scale organisations. This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the integrity and quality of IT-driven solutions within the allocated budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP security roles within the SAP application architecture.
* Support the GRC team's technical activities and implementation of security best practices.
* Investigate and resolve production incidents related to access, authorisations, and GRC functionalities.
* Troubleshoot and fix SAP GRC-related issues, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
* Advise on SAP GRC best practices, including system monitoring and compliance measures.
* Conduct assurance activities such as quarterly access reviews and internal/external audits.
* Document system changes and updates to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
* Participate in stakeholder meetings (in person or virtually) as required.
* Ensure knowledge transfer and mentorship of junior team members.
Skills & Experience Required:
* SAP Certified Development Specialist certification is highly desirable.
* Minimum 5 years of SAP GRC experience in large-scale environments.
* Strong experience in security role design, configuration, testing, and deployment within SAP application architecture.
* Expertise in GRC modules such as:
o Access Request Management (ARM)
o Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
o Emergency Access Management (EAM)
o Business Role Management (BRM)
o User Access Review (UAR)
* Proficiency in SAP ECC Profile Generator, including the creation and management of single roles, master/derived roles, and composite roles.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to mentor and share knowledge with junior SAP support team members.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to provide status reports on ongoing activities and tasks.
* Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams.
