Morayfield State High School is a large, complex secondary school with a population of 1650 students from Years 7 to 12 and an ICSEA of 946. The school population includes many students with a strong cultural identity as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 20% of students have been identified through the NCCD process as requiring additional support or intervention to achieve.

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.

- Highly capable instructional leader,
- Be able to demonstrate strong organisational and management skills,
- Be futures-orientated and innovative.
- A level of knowledge and experience with the Australian Curriculum V9 will be advantageous.
