FinXL is Seeking an experienced Principal M204 Software Engineer for a high-impact, long-term contract based in Canberra. This role is ideal for a technical leader who excels at overseeing complex software projects and providing strategic direction within the M204/ISIS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee large-scale software development projects, providing guidance and technical advice to engineering teams.
* Develop and implement strategies for high-quality code construction, long-term maintenance, and adherence to security standards.
* Lead design activities for complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, feasibility, and security requirements.
* Build and manage strategic relationships with stakeholders and partner agencies to drive service delivery.
* Act as the final point of escalation for highly complex technical issues within development and production environments.
Key Requirements:
* M204, ISIS framework, User Language, and Mainframe.
* COBOL, TypeScript, and Shell Scripting.
* IBM App Connect, APIConnect, and CAGEN/Broadcom-Gen.
* PostgreSQL, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL, or Oracle.
* Drupal, WordPress, and Git repository maintenance.
