About the opportunity
Based in Darwin, Altrad is seeking a full‐time Coating and Insulation Coordinator to join our Campaign Maintenances & Integrity Services (CMI) team. This local Monday to Friday role offers the opportunity for weekend work during the dry season and will work closely with Project Controls and execution teams.
In this role, you will take ownership of the coordination, planning interface, and execution readiness of C&I maintenance and campaign scopes across one of Australia's most complex LNG operations. Acting as a key bridge between planning, execution, and stakeholder teams, you will ensure work packages are fully prepared, materials and resources are available, and shutdown and maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Navigate and manage the SAP work order pipeline, maintaining visibility of priorities and alignment with the latest Campaign, Maintenance and Integrity (CMI) / Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) schedule revisions.
Review and coordinate 120‐day and 28‐day SAP plans with INPEX planning and scheduling stakeholders to ensure alignment with available resources and rostered personnel.
Monitor daily workforce capacity and resource requirements, proactively identifying shortfalls, escalating risks, and maintaining justification records for major variances in collaboration with Project Controls.
Coordinate planning inputs for adhoc campaign, brownfield and maintenance scopes, supporting scope definition, estimating activities and timely submission of CTRs.
Source and coordinate the procurement of materials, specialist equipment and services, including raising service orders to ensure execution readiness and compliance with quality requirements.
Act as the primary SAP interface within the Altrad CMI team, ensuring accurate system usage, data integrity, time confirmations and effective reporting.
Support supervisors and execution teams to maximise productive time in the field through effective planning, work readiness and coordination of permits, materials and documentation.
Maintain accurate SAP work orders, progress status, lookaheads and trackers, ensuring up‐to‐date information is readily available to support planning and execution decisions.
Prepare, revise and maintain workpacks, ensuring all prerequisites are met, including LESPA, site walks, ITPs, ITRs, MTOs, permit requirements and client deadlines.
About you
You are an organised, proactive and technically capable coordinator who thrives in complex operational environments where planning precision and real‐time problem‐solving matter.
You bring strong experience in maintenance, construction, or energy‐sector project environments and are confident working across SAP systems, engineering documentation, and multi‐stakeholder execution teams.
