We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from individuals committed to empowering and enhancing the skills of Indigenous people for employment, activities, and training, ensuring that these initiatives are culturally appropriate.
The position requires traveling across the vast areas where remote Australians live, as well as having administrative skills.
Candidates must successfully complete a criminal history check and obtain government certification for working with vulnerable people, including children.

Purpose of the Role
* Deliver efficient and effective assistance to indigenous people in remote areas as part of the Remote Australian Employment Services (RAES).
* Facilitate group activation services, motivate indigenous people, and foster positive peer support.
* Encourage culturally appropriate employment, activities, and training.
Key Responsibilities
General Duties:
* Prepare and deliver programs to remote indigenous people.
* Regular travel and extended stays at remote worksites.
* Advise on job search practices and conduct group sessions.
* Maintain accurate case management records.
* Perform administrative tasks as required.
* Uphold Myuma Group's core values and ensure safe work practices.
Talent Management:
* Interview clients, arrange training, monitor attendance and progress.
* Develop and review Career Pathways collaboratively.
* Liaise with external service providers.
* Ensure all KPIs and service requirements are met.
Marketing & Customer Liaison:
* Identify employment opportunities through engagement with companies, industry, and community organizations.
* Promote Rainbow Gateway Limited services and maintain a professional image.
Job Seeker Training:
* Assist job seekers to obtain sustainable employment via education, training, and work experience.
* Facilitate training and monitor progress.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Attributes
* Ability to obtain a current Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
* Participation in professional development and training.
* Experience engaging with employers and building relationships.
* Interviewing and assessment experience is advantageous.
* Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Internet, email).
* High level of interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
* Flexible, outcome-focused, and a team player with initiative.
Selection Criteria
* Proven ability to support indigenous people empathetically and build trust.
* An understanding of relevant legislation (Anti-discrimination, EEO, WHS, Privacy, FOI).
