Job Overview
The Finance Assistant supports the Financial Controller with financial operations ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with CV's global standards and statutory obligations.
Specific Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with CV policies and procedures across all finance operations, particularly with budget control and financial reporting, including maintaining financial processes to increase accuracy and transparency of reporting.
* Support a range of core accounting tasks, including timely bank and credit card reconciliations, and other reconciliations in a timely manner.
* Contribute to the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring timely sign‐off by the Financial Controller, and support an ongoing project of process improvement to enhance efficiency while maintaining internal financial controls.
* Prepare and process payment schedules and invoices, ensuring taxation reports and payments are accurate and compliant with organisational controls.
* Assist and support the broader team with NetSuite, including purchase orders, journal entries, intercompany transactions, and general process inquiries.
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist in preparing statutory annual accounts for audits and regulatory filings.
* Support budget holders in the preparation of budgets, assisting regional operations teams with finance queries while promoting best practice.
* Collaborate across time zones, which may involve out‐of‐hours availability from time to time.

Skills, Experience and Education
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or working towards one) or working toward CA/CPA is an advantage.
* 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration, preferably within an international or multi‐entity organisation.
* Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of local regulations, accounting standards, and business practices.
* Experience working in multi‐cultural teams within international organisations is an advantage.
* Familiarity with tax, accounting, and reporting requirements is an advantage.
