About the Opportunity
Are you ready to fan the flames of your career and work with a company that truly values your skills? If so, we have multiple exciting full-time permanent opportunities for Fire Technicians, Sprinkler Fitters and Portable Technicians to join our Asset Services team based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
* Fire Technician – perform fire systems equipment repairs, upgrades, and renewals. Service, inspect, test, fault find, trouble shoot and repair Fire Detection & Emergency Warning Systems and associated control and indication equipment. Service, inspect, and test Exit and Emergency Lighting systems.
* Sprinkler Fitter – inspect and test fire sprinklers, hydrants & hose reels, special hazards, and pump systems.
* Portables Technician – use hand and power tools to install and maintain portable fire equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants and other fire protection equipment; service portable and other fire protection equipment on customer premises and recommend portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with Australian Standards.
Requirements
* Providing outstanding customer service and technical solutions to key clients, whilst ensuring a high level of communication.
* Maintaining regular communication with your team and supervisors.
* Complying with required company policies, procedures, processes, and applicable Australian Industry Standards.
* As you will be working in secure and sensitive environments, you must also be able to obtain a current police clearance.
About You

* Complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
* QBCC Licensed.
* Current C class manual driver's licence.
* Preferred EAHL classes 2, 3 & 6.
* Prior experience in hazardous areas would be advantageous.
* 2+ years' experience in a Portables Technician role.
* Experience with Uptick is highly regarded.
* Dedicated commitment to Australian standards, regulations, and safe work practices.
* Proven computer literacy, tablet and smartphone.
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment to effectively complete task requirements.
