The Opportunity
* Location: Gatton
* Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility
* Compensation: Up to $55 per hour + Super + 15% Retention (Depending on role & qualification)
Role: Early Childhood Teacher
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement engaging, play‐based learning programs aligned with the EYLF & QKLG.
* Prioritize a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children thrive.
* Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.
* Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.
* Monitor, document and reflect on children's learning to drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one; or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
* Current QLD Blue Card.
* Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience leading curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years.
* Mentor and support Assistant Educators and other staff.
* Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments.
* Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards.
* Support the Centre Director with daily operations and leadership.
* Contribute to and lead aspects of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
* Promote a positive, reflective and collaborative team culture.
* Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
* Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.
