WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Regional Community Nursing Casual Pool and make a meaningful difference to clients across a range of community health programs. You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care in areas such as post-acute care, palliative and end-of-life support, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Community Home Link, Rapid Intensive Brokerage Service, and the Transition Care Program.

This role is essential to supporting a 7-day, out-of-hours service, ensuring timely care for clients and helping maintain continuity across our programs. You’ll enjoy flexible casual work, professional development opportunities, and the chance to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering holistic health care.

The Casual Pool has opportunities across Tanunda, Adelaide Hills and Southern Fleurieu/Kangaroo Island, giving you the flexibility to work in communities you enjoy while supporting clients to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

- Deliver safe, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to community clients.
- Make a tangible difference supporting clients to remain independent and at home for as long as possible.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care needs in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Provide guidance and support to Enrolled Nurses, students, and less experienced staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and professional development opportunities.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You will need to be immunised. Please contact the Enquiries Person for this position if you have any queries. Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy. Further information is in the application for to help guide you.
- You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
- You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse/Midwife within our organisation.
