About The Role
As a Demand Planner at Electrolux, you will be responsible for the forecast planning incorporating formulation of the demand plan through the forecasting process. You will ensure optimal inventory flow to support the fulfilment of such demand plan to enable Electrolux meets its financial goals by maximising sales with optimum inventory and cost efficiency.
What You'll Do
1. Utilise a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Category team in order to gather, analyse and validate forecast assumptions in order to develop accurate unbiased demand forecast.
2. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
3. Lead the S&OP process for respective categories to establish signed off sales plan per category.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to impact Forecast Accuracy, Cost, Efficiency and Customer Service.
5. Generates a detailed Supply Plan by SKU for all storage locations in ANZ to meet service levels and inventory targets in all locations.
6. Drive weekly and monthly Supply reviews with suppliers to engage, monitor performance, ensure a robust supply plan is aligned and maintained. Drive proactive resolution of supply issues with suppliers.
7. Review and recommend key supply parameters such as target safety stocks, Minimum order quantities.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory, reduce cost, and improve service levels.
Who You Are
1. 2-3 years Demand Planning experience within Consumer Goods, FMCG, or related industry.
2. Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, working closely with sales, category teams.
4. A strong communicator who is confident in a front facing role with our retail partners.
5. Experience with SAP/ APO, Power BI preferred.
6. Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables).
