6-Month Contract | Project Close-Out Phase | SEQ
We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer to take ownership of the final stages and close-out of a water/pipeline infrastructure project.
This is a critical role focused on driving completion, resolving outstanding issues, and delivering a clean handover. You’ll step into an active site environment and work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to bring the project to completion.
Key responsibilities
* Lead project close-out activities across civil and mechanical pipeline scopes
* Coordinate commissioning, testing, and completions (ITPs, check sheets, sign-offs)
* Manage defects, punch lists, and rework to ensure timely close-out
* Drive subcontractors to meet completion deadlines and quality expectations
* Oversee handover documentation, including as-builts, QA packs, and O&M manuals
* Interface with client representatives to achieve practical completion and final acceptance
What we’re looking for
* Background in water, pipelines, or mechanical piping systems
* Strong understanding of civil + mechanical installation and commissioning interfaces
* Experience managing completions, documentation, and client handover requirements
* Ability to step into a fast-paced, imperfect environment and drive outcomes
