We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Technical & Innovation team in Castlemaine, Victoria.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in safely and efficiently managing and delivering infrastructure projects to approved scope, quality, schedule, and budget. Reporting to the Projects & Engineering Manager, you will lead project teams, ensure compliance, and drive successful project outcomes.
Your Impact
* Lead high profile water infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery
* Work with cutting edge engineering and technical innovation
* Contribute to sustainable environmental solutions while developing your project management career.
Location and Travel Requirements
* Regular travel to Bendigo and Kyneton sites as required
* Occasional travel to Melbourne (Southbank) as required
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and lead project teams, fostering strong working relationships with stakeholders.
* Ensure projects are delivered according to the Veolia ANZ Project Management Framework and statutory requirements.
* Manage change processes, ensuring alignment across Technical, Commercial, SHEQ, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
* Methodically assess and report on project progress, identifying and resolving deficiencies.
* Prepare Statements of Requirements, scope of works, specifications, work-plans, and cost estimates.
* Administer contracts and manage contractors, ensuring supply chain efficiency.
* Identify and manage project risks, ensuring safety in design and compliance with regulations.
* Manage commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover to Operations.
* Provide accurate budget and cash flow forecasts, ensuring commercial success .
What We're Looking for
* Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
* Experience managing infrastructure
* projects over $1MEffective communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
