Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 61 Saab and 7 Boeing -NG aircraft to 58 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator), the Australian Airline Pilot Academy with campuses in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat, and propeller maintenance organisation, Australian Aerospace Propeller Maintenance.
Expressions of interest are sought for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join Rex as a full-time Airports Administration Officer.
Reporting: This position reports to the National Airports Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Investigate Safety and Compliance reports and manage incidents as required
2. Compile and complete monthly Airport reporting requirements to Management
3. Monitor and track customer feedback within Airports Department
4. Manage the Airports Department action tracking
5. Airport related administration
6. Initial investigation of policy breaches within the airports department
7. Review of staff shift rosters
8. Reporting of network baggage handling discrepancies
9. OTP reviews
10. Updating company policies and procedures as required
11. Assist with oversight of Rex Lounges
12. Manage projects within Airports Department
13. Provide relief coverage for senior staff within Airports Department as required
Selection Criteria:
14. Eligibility to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card)
15. Tertiary qualifications in an Aviation discipline
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
17. Proficiency with computer productivity applications such as Microsoft Office (advanced IT skills would be highly regarded)
18. Ability to work independently without supervision
