Your Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and evidence-based antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
- Support and manage both low-risk and complex births
- Provide neonatal resuscitation when required
- Collaborate with regional GPs, nurses, and Aboriginal health workers
- Respond to emergencies with confidence and autonomy
- Contribute to health education, discharge planning, and community care
What You Need
- Current AHPRA registration as Dual Registered Midwife (RN/RM)
- Minimum 3 years of midwifery and general nursing experience
- Current PROMPT training, Neonatal Resuscitation, and FSEP Level 3
- BLS/ALS certification
- Australian working rights
Highly Regarded:
- Previous regional or rural maternity experience
- Cultural safety training or experience working with Aboriginal communities
- Flexibility to work across maternity and acute/general nursing wards
