Position Summary:
* Responsible for managing the planning and executing HR activities, programs and initiatives - creating a space for associates to gather and belong
* Manage the onboarding of new associates and review all employment contracts
* Be a part of something bigger by managing and facilitating the new associate's programs whilst liaising with other key departments leaders
* Interview managerial candidates whilst supporting other departments throughout the recruitment process
* Manage all areas of recruitment whilst following talent acquisition requirements
* Strategically manage all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with the Human Resources Team – inviting, welcoming and connecting with each associate
* Plan, organise and execute TakeCare events and activities, creating a caring community that empowers associates to grow and reach their full potential.
* Strategically create the hotel's talent acquisition strategy, networking with local organisations and attending external recruitment fairs
* Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position
* Ensure you and the team maintain employee files containing required employment paperwork and are secured for the required length of time, focusing on attention to detail
* Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs
