About the Home
Located in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide, nestled in leafy Tea Tree Gully, Ridgehaven Aged Care is collocated with the Ridgehaven Rise Retirement Village, a short drive from the Tea Tree Plaza Shopping precinct.
Home to 123 residents we offer light-filled, spacious single rooms with private or shared ensuites and a choice of outlooks to landscaped garden beds and courtyards.
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a Permanent basis. As part of our hospitality team, Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our homes.
The Role
o Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and always maintained at a high standard.
o Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
o Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
o Cleaning bathroom facilities.
o Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
o Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
o Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
To be successful, you will have
o Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
o Complete a NDIS check
o 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
o Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
o Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
o Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
