About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalised, privately owned non-bank lender that has built a dominant position in commercial asset finance. With a strong balance sheet, established broker networks, and a high-volume lending pipeline, the business is continuing to invest in its credit capability as it scales.
Based in Brisbane, this role sits within a mature, well-structured asset finance division assessing asset-backed commercial loans across vehicles, equipment, and specialist assets. You'll be hands-on in credit assessment and deal progression, working closely with brokers and senior credit leaders in an environment that values pace, accountability, and commercial judgement.
Importantly, this role is open to both junior analysts with strong fundamentals and attitude, as well as experienced asset or commercial credit analysts looking for a faster-moving, less bureaucratic environment with real development upside.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake credit assessments on commercial asset finance transactions across vehicles, equipment and specialised assets
* Prepare clear, concise credit outcomes aligned to established credit policy and procedures
* Analyse borrower financials, industry risk, and asset security to form sound credit recommendations
* Manage a high-volume workflow while maintaining strong credit discipline
* Work closely with brokers, senior credit leaders, and internal stakeholders to progress deals efficiently
About You
* Background or interest in asset finance, equipment finance, commercial lending, or credit analysis
* Open to junior candidates with strong aptitude, or experienced analysts ready to step up
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven credit environment
* Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and risk awareness
