About The Role
You will be assisting the Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day operations in the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, developing menus and playing a vital role in delivering excellent service to our community. Your responsibilities will include:
Efficiently and effectively coordinate and conduct high quality food compliance with Food Safety programs and relevant Health and Safety a culture of essential hygiene practices and ensuring a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen.Assisting the Head Chef in developing cost effective menus and waste minimisation efficient stock control and effective kitchen management.
About You
We are seeking someone who is organised and tidy, has great time management skills and basic financial acumen. Next level interpersonal skill will see you easily strike conversation with people from all walks of life!
Our Ideal Sous Chef Will Have
Trade certificate in Commercial Cookery and/or previous experience in large catering organisational skills.Demonstrated ability to prioritise with fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain positive and effective partnerships with internal and external customers.
