Key Responsibilities Build & Own a High-Performing Desk
* Own and grow a specialist recruitment desk across contract and/or permanent roles
* Build trusted client partnerships and become embedded with key stakeholders
* Take high-quality briefs, advise on market conditions, and guide hiring decisions
* Drive new business through proactive BD, referrals, networking and relationship-led sales
* Negotiate fees, rates, extensions and offers with confidence and commercial maturity
Candidate Delivery & Pipeline Depth
* Source and engage top talent through database (Bullhorn), LinkedIn, networking and referrals
* Interview, qualify and present shortlists with strong supporting insights
* Manage offers, resignations, counteroffers and close processes end-to-end
* Build long-term talent pipelines, not just transactionally fill roles
Contractor Care (Non-negotiable at TR)
* Manage contractor care throughout assignments with consistent contact and high candidate experience
Leadership & Team Impact
* Lead by example in service, standards, pace, professionalism and integrity
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to raising desk capability
* Share market insights and collaborate across the broader consultant team
What Success Looks Like
* A desk with strong repeat business and warm client advocacy – working across all Tier 1 clients including Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, Hancock and large EPCMs including Worley, WSP and many others.
* Consistent performance and high quality delivery – the desk has a proven ability to bill $1 million per year.
* A strong, clean pipeline (candidates + clients) that doesn't rely on luck
* Being known internally and externally as a trusted market specialist
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, ideally in mining/resources, engineering, infrastructure or technical markets
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant is required
* Track record of consistent billing and strong client retention
* Demonstrated annual billing performance of $500K-750K minimum is required
* Commercial confidence: negotiating, influencing and managing competing priorities
* High accountability, strong organisation, and a self-driven approach
* Relationship-first mindset with a genuine commitment to candidate care
