DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients team on a contract basis. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and report generation
* Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
* Help with accounts payable and receivable processes
* Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement ideas
* Handle other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Prior experience in an accounting or finance knowledge is a plus
