**Central Allocations Unit - Casual Bank**

**About The Role**
To maintain your position with the Central Allocations Unit, a commitment of 4 shifts per fortnight is required.
Casual bank is managed by the Central Allocations Unit which operates 7 days a week. Grampians Health uses an electronic rostering system which matches staff for shifts based on their availabilities via text / phone call.
To be considered for this position, you will have completed one of the below certificates:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing

If applicants have not completed the Assist Clients With Medication Unit, they will be willing to complete the Grampians Health Medication Administration Skills Check Certificate.

Casual bank shifts can be offered within short time frames, therefore, to be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.
You will be required to provide 2 referees, one being your current Facility Manager / NUM and the second another manager / supervisor
Newly qualified carers can provide a placement manager/course coordinator and a manager from a current/recent employer.

- y Assisting residents to meet their needs as defined by them in a variety of Care Community setting
- s Provide resident-focused and holistic care under the supervision of the Registered & Enrolled Nurse
- s Accurate documentation of resident care and meeting of health service guideline
- s Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staf
- f Provide resident-focused service in relation to meals/food service
- s Ability to function within a tea
