Are you passionate about evidence-based reform in the justice system? We're looking for a Principal Policy & Research Analyst to lead the strategic redesign of domestic and family violence, sexual, and violent offending programs in custodial settings.
In this role, you will:
* Apply RNR Principles: Ensure all programs align with Risk-Need-Responsivity frameworks, tailoring interventions to risk and criminogenic needs.
* Champion Victim Safety: Design initiatives that prioritise victim protection and perpetrator accountability.
* Lead Global Benchmarking: Research international best practices and emerging trends to inform Queensland's custodial programs.
* Shape Future Programs: Translate research and comparative analyses into an integrated, modular program roadmap for safe, effective, and sustainable delivery.
* Drive Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to turn technical insights into actionable outcomes.
About you:
* You are a subject matter expert in criminology or social policy with a strong understanding of DFV, sexual and violent offending.
* You combine academic rigour with operational pragmatism and enjoy applying research to real-world systemic reform.
* You excel at managing sensitive information, building trusted relationships, and delivering high-quality results in a complex environment.
