What will your role be?
Our Sales team love building relationships, connecting with customers to sell our much-loved brands in new and vibrant markets where they can thrive. As our National Accounts Manager for IBA, you will be managing the relationship between Diageo and Australia's second largest liquor retailer, which is a critical component of our strategic plans to deliver future growth.
There are several success factors to winning with this major customer group, including collaborative and authentic value add relationships, influencing key stakeholders at the national and state level, optimising management trade spend investment, and leadership of the total category agenda.
Continuing to evolve, challenge, and scale new heights is critical to maintaining momentum and mutually profitable sales and share growth.
What would this role look like to you?
Our National Accounts Manager is responsible for leading the financial delivery in the customer through best in class promotional program and trade investment management, category review leadership and Joint Business Planning execution.
As we drive against our commitment to grow our market leadership position, this role represents a great development and succession planning opportunity across our customer teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Foster and build relationships with both your internal and external key stakeholders;- Internally you'll provide direction for the Key Account Manager team to enable brilliant execution, and- Collaborate with the shopper marketing team to build scale and leverage the best outcomes for Diageo & the customer retailers around critical joint initiatives.- Manage the financial results through delivery and optimisation of the promotional program- Deliver medium term objectives via ownership of the category review process & execution of key JBP initiatives
So, what about you?- Previous National Account Management or National Promotions Management experience in Liquor or FMCG on National Chains or National Independent banner customer;- Expert level analytical capability in translating critical category and commercial insights into compelling customer opportunities that drive growth, and landing those consistently with the customer;- Highly refined negotiation skills with proven track record of successful negotiation and delivery of annual promotional program with national customers or equivalent- Recent experience in leading and managing category review process to achieve highly successful outcomes (internal stakeholder engagement & leadership, and customer delivery & execution)- Highly capable in managing multiple dependent stakeholders internally and externally- Demonstrated ability to build authentic, value-add relationships inside and outside the organisation- Highly experienced and fully self-sufficient commercial & financial acumen through the full P&L both internal and customer- Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
