The Role:
We are currently seeking a Child Development Therapist to join our growing team in Cairns. This role offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. What you'll be doing:
* Deliver early intervention therapy to children aged 0–9 years in natural settings, including homes, schools, daycares, and the community.

* Apply discipline-specific knowledge and competencies to identify and support the needs of children with developmental delays or disabilities.
* Consult and collaborate with families, educators, health professionals, and other key stakeholders to ensure coordinated, holistic support.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including outcomes data, in accordance with ND Collective policies and procedures.
* Prepare clear, evidence-informed reports that reflect best practice and meet NDIS and professional standards.
* Participate in stakeholder meetings to inform therapy planning and advocate for the needs of the child.
* Engage in ongoing professional development, including supervision, training, and reflective practice.
* Practice within a neuro-affirming framework, promoting acceptance, inclusion, and respect for neurodivergent children and their families
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified Early Childhood Teacher or Educator who has a bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Special Education, who where applicable has a current registration or accreditation with their state or territory's relevant professional body.
* Genuinely passionate about early childhood intervention and family-centred practice
* Experienced or interested in working within a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed framework
* Committed to professional growth, collaboration, and making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families
* Skilled in working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful outcomes for children and families
* A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
* Proficient in report writing, with excellent written communication skills
* Organised and capable of managing a diverse caseload independently
* Able to demonstrate strong time management and maintain timely, accurate records
* Knowledgeable about the NDIS and comfortable working within a billable service model, or willing to learn
* In possession of a current Blue Card, driver's license, and have access to a reliable vehicle
