Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for Procurement Officer join their team for Initial 7 Months Engagement + Possibility of Extension. The Procurement Officer will work closely with the Contract Manager to support day-to-day procurement and contract administration activities. This is a transaction-focused role within an ERP environment, responsible for managing Purchase Orders (POs), coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring data integrity across procurement systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, attention to detail, and experience working in ERP systems to ensure smooth transactional operations and compliance with procurement policies.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Contract Manager to ensure efficient procurement and contract administration.
* Create, review, and process Purchase Orders in the ERP system.
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment processing.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and data integrity within the ERP environment.
* Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual terms.
* Support preparation of procurement documentation, reports, and audit records.
* Assist in ensuring adherence to procurement governance, WHS, sustainability, and Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirements.
* Identify opportunities to improve transactional efficiency and system accuracy.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract administration.

* Strong understanding of
ERP systems.
* Experience managing Purchase Orders and transactional procurement workflows.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Familiarity with
government or defence procurement frameworks
(e.g., ASDEFCON, CASG) will be highly regarded.
