Our Civil Engineering team delivers a wide range of services across the transport infrastructure sector, including site selection and planning, spatial information and digital terrain modelling, earthworks and site grading, drainage and flood modelling, and flood impact studies. We work closely with our broader earth sciences and engineering teams to deliver practical, high‐quality outcomes for our clients. Due to a strong secured workload and recent project wins, our Brisbane team is seeking an experienced CSR Civil Designer to support the delivery of transport infrastructure projects on a 12‐month fixed‐term basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality civil design for combined services routes using 12d Model
* Support multidisciplinary project teams across transport infrastructure assignments
* Liaise with the CSR Engineer, Lead Civil Designer, engineers, and junior staff
* Prepare detailed design and construction deliverables, including CSR models, 2D drawings, and material take‐offs
* Ensure design outputs comply with relevant technical, quality, and authority standards
* Contribute to quality assurance activities and the safe, timely delivery of projects
* Work collaboratively within a small, focused project team environment
About You
You will have 3+ years' experience in a civil design role, ideally with exposure to combined services routes or transport infrastructure projects. You are proficient in 12d Model and AutoCAD, with experience in OpenRoads or Civil 3D viewed favourably but not essential. You hold an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. You are comfortable stepping into an established team, contributing effectively from day one, and working within defined project timeframes. Strong communication skills, solid general computer literacy, high personal safety standards, and knowledge of road and rail authority standards particularly TMR are highly valued.
