Due to the expansion of our new facility and introduction of new technology, we require more experienced Maintenance Fitter and Turners - 323212 to cover the existing and new technology that will be required to maintain.
We are seeking an experienced and trade qualified **Maintenance Fitter and Turner **to join the team at our Grantham Processing Plant. It is desirable that the successful applicant should have experience within the food or meat processing industry however this is not essential. Inhouse training will be provided. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as an experienced Maintenance Fitter and Turner and possess a good knowledge of workplace health & safety requirements and excellent interpersonal skills. The pay rates are well above Award and Industry (> $96 000) with very good employment benefits and conditions.

- MUST BE Trade qualified and experienced Fitter and Turner
- Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain plant & equipment
- Timely diagnosis and repair for resolution of problems
- Competent electric arc welder, tig, oxy acetylene welding and cutting
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Proven commitment to safety
- Have a commercial mindset for minimizing downtime in production
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to work Day and Afternoon Shift on a rotational basis
- Some weekend work may be required
- Ability to work during the Xmas / Current Year period each year
