We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Central Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and accounting services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies, and developing robust internal controls.
* Escalate questions on financials, tax, and audit queries.
* Ensure finance teams comply with legislation, policies, and procedures to mitigate business risk.
* Provide efficient and accurate financial and accounting services.
* Develop robust internal controls, financial systems, and process improvements.
* Manage Delegated Financial Authority (DFA) and team compliance.
* Prepare statutory financial reports and audits.
* Oversee month-end close processes and lease accounting.
* Manage fringe benefits tax (FBT) and employee entitlements.
* Support treasury activities like cash flow modelling and bank account management.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting.
* CPA, CA, or ACA membership.
* Strong understanding of accounting standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in preparing financial information.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to extract, analyze, and present statistical data.
