About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Assistant to join our team in the subacute setting at Caulfield Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to work closely with Occupational Therapy staff to provide high-quality care to patients.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementation of individual and group interventions as delegated by treating Occupational Therapists.
* Facilitation of upper limb retraining and falls education.
* Working with patients to increase functional abilities in areas such as personal care, meal preparation, and community access.
Requirements:
* Completion of Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistance) or equivalent qualification.
* Previous employment in an AHA Grade 2 or AHA Grade 3 role, with 3+ years' clinical experience required for the Grade 3 AHA role.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within scope of practice.
