Leadership Opportunity in Netball Association
This role presents an exceptional chance to lead a sports organization through its next phase of growth, shaping the long-term direction of netball in the region.
* As President, you will guide the Board, oversee governance, and drive strategic planning for sustainable growth and participation across all levels.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leadership, strategic planning or business management, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. They will be community-focused, able to think strategically, and possess the ability to lead volunteers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Board and ensure effective governance
2. Drive the implementation of the new strategic plan
3. Sustain and enhance growth and participation across all levels
4. Strengthen community connections and partnerships
5. Represent the association professionally with stakeholders
Qualifications:
* Proven track record in leadership, strategic planning or business management
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Community-focused mindset with volunteer leadership experience
* Ability to think strategically and drive long-term growth
* Desirable: Experience in sport administration
Term and Remuneration:
* Initial 2-year term with an optional additional 2-year extension
* Honorarium as remuneration
