Ferguson Construction (FC) is a regionally established General Contractor with over 100 years of experience in heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets. FC has an in-house design department and performs concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding trades.
The Construction Superintendent oversees all aspects of jobsite management, including staffing, scheduling, and subcontractor relations. As the site leader, the Superintendent manages the project from award to completion, requiring extensive industry experience and understanding of client and project needs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
* Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in commercial construction, with a background in mid-size to large projects
* Current OSHA 30-hour or 10-hour certification
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Office, Procore
* Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
* Ability to interpret safety laws, company policies, blueprints, and technical drawings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with large construction projects and NUCOR Buildings
Essential Duties:
* Maintain safety standards and enforce policies
* Construct projects according to plans and specifications
* Ensure timely completion of paperwork and documentation
* Supervise craft workers
* Plan work schedules, workforce, materials, and equipment
* Manage project schedule and avoid overtime
* Report equipment usage weekly
* Coordinate material delivery and storage
* Ensure accurate layout and communication
* Deliver projects on time, safely, with quality and within budget
* Assist with material schedules and change management
* Lead site setup, safety, record-keeping, and project closeout
* Develop site logistics
* Perform additional duties as required
This position includes a truck or vehicle allowance, bonus, and profit sharing
