Position Purpose: Manage Material and Catalogue administrative and purchasing activities per company policies. Ensure effective material control parameters and continuous improvement of Material Management Controls.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead continuous improvement in maintenance.
* Build and work on reliable Inventory balance and reports.
* Review stock levels to reduce working capital.
* Ensure materials ordered meet specifications and delivery timelines.
* Assist in inventory control and reconciliation of materials.
* Manage, update, and upload various material schedules and lists.
* Oversee vendor pricing changes, unit of measure changes, and inventory parts by location.
* Standardize product information and improve catalogue quality.
* Utilize existing stock holdings before purchasing new parts.
* Provide purchasing advice and guidance.
* Process Material Requests per guidelines and policies.
Key Competencies:
* Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
* Analytical approach to problem-solving.
* Presentation skills to stakeholders.
This role is based in Balcatta (free onsite parking) and requires a start at short notice. The salary is in the region on $90k +
