**Sales Manager Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team based at Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving occupancy and contributing to the success of two extraordinary destinations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Administration of rates, contracts, and customer service for local, retail, wholesale, and inbound travel agents.
* Support the sales team operationally and administratively in achieving departmental sales and revenue targets.
* Create and curate compelling visual and written content to showcase our hotels, services, and events.
* Liaise and communicate with guests, agents, and various departments and managers.
* Coordinate with the reservations team and all functions to ensure accurate rate management and policy updates.
* Assist the event & groups coordinator in accuracy of group quotes and timelines.
* Maintain image libraries, artwork, and campaigns, including online image galleries.
* Ensure adherence to Resort Policies and Procedures by all team members.
* Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with basic proficiency in Excel functions required.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a natural ability to prioritise tasks and demonstrate initiative, innovation.
**Requirements:**
* Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience.
* Hospitality or tourism industry experience is required.
* Minimum Certificate or Diploma qualification in Hospitality or Tourism.
* Australian work rights required at the time of application.
