The Lecturer – ConstructionResponsible for delivering carpentry training in accordance with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards, VET Quality Framework, and competency standards of the Construction Training Package.
About the PositionThe primary role involves contributing to VET teaching and assessment programs in classrooms, workshops, and workplaces. You will facilitate competency-based training through various modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace-based, external, and online delivery, while supporting industry training needs.
About You
Trade Qualification in Carpentry and post-trade industry experienceCurrent Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or successor) or willingness to obtain itExperience in training within workplaces or educational settingsSkills in developing training tools to meet specific needsHigh-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including culturally sensitive communicationAbility to work independently and in a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant softwareFor the full position description, click the apply link to be directed to CDU's job site and view attachments.
