About the role...
*You will be an integral part of the bakery team working alongside skilled bakers & chefs, reporting to the Head Baker.
* Responsible for daily baking duties including but not limited to preparing ingredients, weighing, mixing, hand shaping, laminating and baking.
* Minimum 2 years experience with mixing doughs of naturally leavened breads, yeasted doughs is essential (Pastry experience highly regarded).
* Demonstrate the ability to work independently and passionately, following detailed instructions while maintaining consistency and quality.
* Contribute creative ideas and suggestions while respecting established processes and recipes.
* Enjoy exposure to quality ingredients and suppliers and the freedom to be creative and experimental.
* Effectively communicate with the team to ensure that production is efficient and consistent and that quality standards are always met.
* Take initiative when needed and problem-solve independently during busy production periods.
* Ensure the bakery/kitchen is of the highest quality standard of cleanliness at all times.
* Days flexible, boutique, family friendly operation.

* Be passionate about quality baking with 3+ years experience in a bakery environment
* Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to Caringbah South
* Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Pay: $32.00 – $45.00 per hour
