CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer (Okuma 5 Axis, Okuma Multus Lathe)
Overview
Join a well‐established ISO9000 quality standard engineering business in the Northern suburbs. This role supports high‐end manufacturing across a variety of industries and offers a long‐term, permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a 5‐Axis Okuma machining centre and Okuma Multus lathe.
* Program and refine CNC operations using CAM software (SolidCAM or equivalent).
* Machining of both ferrous and non‐ferrous materials for high‐end components.
* Support low‐volume production schedules and other tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Trade qualifications.
* High attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* SolidWorks experience.
* Experience with Okuma Multus and/or machine centres.
* Strong work ethic and versatility to undertake various tasks in a day.
