Manager – Audit
As our Manager, you'll lead teams and supervise junior staff, collaborating with Audit Senior Managers and Partners. Key capabilities include meeting stretch targets, coaching and encouraging junior staff, effective communication, and project management. The Audit Manager anticipates risk, works across EY, and identifies opportunities to enhance trust, focusing on overall audit quality, building deep relationships, and value creation through independence and client understanding, account strategy and delivery, maximizing the possibilities from data and technology, and higher risk and complex audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Planning and coordinating audits
* Effectively manage the audit process (in consultation with the Senior Manager/Partner) with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, and ensure audits are executed in compliance with our policies and protocols.
* Manage multiple concurrent audit projects, prioritising tasks and meeting strict deadlines
* Participating in client acceptance, independence, and compliance with professional standards for team members.
* Executing audit processes
* Understand an entity's operating environment, including regulatory environment, competition and legal structure, and identify areas of financial statement risks.
* Understand the entity's control environment and identify areas of financial statement risks.
* Understand the entity's processes and identify areas that could give risk to a financial statement risk and controls (including assessing design and effectiveness of controls).
Skills and Attributes for Success
* At least 6 years' experience as an auditor within a Big 4 or second tier accounting firm.
* A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
