Trades Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Trades Assistant to join our team. As a key support member, you will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople in the manufacturing and maintenance of high-quality trailers and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting tradespeople with the assembly, repair and maintenance of trailers
* Unloading containers and organizing our yard
* Performing general laboring duties such as loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
* Cleaning and maintaining the workshop, tools and equipment
* Following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Some experience in a similar laboring or trades assistant role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry
* Good problem-solving and practical skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* A strong commitment to workplace safety and a willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
