Anything Environmental is an authorised Containers for Change operator and a locally owned business committed to environmental sustainability. We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Hand Sorters / Counters to join our teams at our Proserpine and Cannonvale sites.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
Duties include:
* Sorting and counting eligible bottles and cans
* Accurately recording data
* Providing customer service and liaising with members of the public
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
* Forklift operations (where required)
* Working every second Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have an interest in recycling and sustainability
* Deliver friendly and professional customer service
* Be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
* Be physically fit and capable of prolonged standing and manual work
* Be able to work safely and comply with site safety requirements
* Be comfortable working in environments with unpleasant odours
* Have strong numeracy and basic writing skills
* Possess simple calculation skills for accurately recording data and maintaining records
* Forklift licence can be obtained after hiring if not currently held
Please note: Applicants must have full working rights in Australia (no 417 visa holders).
Part time hours only (12-15 hours per week)
