International Recruitment Officer – LATAM

Position Title: International Recruitment Officer – Latam

Division: ECA College

Reports To: Head of Student Acquisition

Employment Type: Part time or Full Time

Location: Sydney or Brisbane

Languages Req: English and Portuguese

Role Overview

The International Recruitment Officer – LATAM is responsible for driving student recruitment for ECA College (Vocational and English Programs) and for APIC, CHS, and HELI (Higher Education) providers within the ECA Group.

Working closely with the Head of Student Acquisition, you will contribute to the development and execution of recruitment strategies targeting both onshore and offshore students for programs across these brands.

Your initial focus will be on recruiting students from Latin America and parts of Europe. Given Brazil's significance as a key market, strong Portuguese language skills are highly valued.

Success in this role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with education and migration agents, students, and internal stakeholders while operating effectively across multiple brands within the ECA Group.

Primary Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain strong agency partnerships to recruit students from Latin American and European markets.
* Support the Head of Student Acquisition in setting and achieving recruitment targets for these regions.
* Contribute to the research, development, and review of country specific plans, including annual recruitment and engagement schedules.
* Prepare and deliver regular monthly reports on budgets, expenses, and recruitment progress.
* Coordinate recruitment activities to meet targets within approved budgets, providing market insights and performance updates.

Additional Responsibilities

* Assist in creating, managing, and updating marketing collateral and promotional materials, including digital assets.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective students, agents, and other influencers about ECA Group's offerings.
* Provide exceptional customer service in all internal and external interactions.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of market developments, admissions requirements, and course offerings across ELICOS, VET, and Higher Education
* Ensure all processes align with ESOS Act requirements.
* Actively contribute to a collaborative team culture within the ECA International Student Recruitment team.

Selection Criteria

Essential

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and training.
* Proficiency in Portuguese language.

Desired

* Experience in the education sector, particularly in VET and Higher Education for recruitment of Latin American students.
* Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with education agents and a wide range of other stakeholders.
* A method driven approach to sales using CRM and other digital tools.
* Proven ability to achieve targets within a team environment.
* Strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills, including public speaking and professional report writing.
* High level interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel, including occasional interstate trips.
* Strong planning and organisational abilities.
* Experience in event coordination and targeted communication campaigns.
* Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
