The Role:
Our Asset Management Services (AMS) Team is recognised as a leader in delivering high‐quality asset management services to some of Australia's most respected institutional and corporate clients.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Commercial Asset Manager to join our high‐performing team of commercial property professionals. This is a dynamic, fast‐paced role suited to someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and is eager to continue building a long‐term career in commercial asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will undertake a broad range of functions including, but not limited to:
* Providing professional asset management services to our clients across our diverse commercial, retail, office and industrial property portfolio
* Liaising with key stakeholders including Landlords, Tenants and Contractors to ensure positive working relationships
* Lease management and administration including rent reviews and renewals
* Facilities management including coordinating quotes, raising work orders and engaging trades and contractors
* Inducting and setting up new contractors within internal systems
* Providing regular progress updates on project and maintenance works
* Managing WHS, compliance and capital works programs
* Conducting property inspections using digital platforms that generate reporting
* Processing and coordinating invoice approvals
* Managing arrears
* Delivering outcomes within approved operating budgets
* Preparing annual property budgets
* Preparing monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
* Maintaining accurate databases and undertaking daily diarised tasks
* Managing the financial performance of the assets and provide recommendations to clients
* Undertaking daily administrative activities
Key Requirements:
* A team player who can take direction from the Head of Department
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
* Strong analytical skills and resilience
* Solid skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational capability
* The ability to work both in the office and outdoors as required
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast‐paced environment
* Current Real Estate Licence/Certificate of Registration
* Current Driver Licence
* Previous experience in the commercial property industry
